Management

  • Ronald Leal

    Founder and Managing Partner of NetPlan Capital. His involvement in fundraising and M&A began in 1978 when he worked with BNDES – Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Econômico e Social and BNDESPar.

    In 1988, he started his financial consulting activities, which led to the founding of NetPlan Capital in 1989. Since then, he has been actively involved in leading various fundraising projects with an international scope, whether debt or equity. He has been extensively involved in agricultural commodities markets, structuring short to medium-term financing operations.

    His experience and relationships in the financial and business community are utilized for the benefit of numerous clients.

    Ronald is Brazilian, graduated in civil engineering (UFPR-1972), holds a master’s degree in computer science (PUC/RJ-1974), and specialized in corporate finance at Columbia University, New York (1977).

  • Rafael Torres

    Partner of NetPlan Capital, overseeing activities in Europe.
    Based in Madrid, Rafael brings his 30-year experience in banking management when developed financial structure models, participating in the growing importance of the Spanish Export Community worldwide.

    Rafael has gained extensive experience in financial solutions for trade finance operations in Europe, America, Africa and Asia. His career began at the Spanish Arab Bank, including Banesto, Foreign Bank of Spain, Argentaria and finally BBVA. Rafael has also worked at Eurofinsa, one of Spain’s largest and most diversified international engineering and construction companies, with many projects abroad.

    Rafael is Spanish, has a degree in Economics and a master’s degree in General Management from IE Business School in Madrid.
